Portmanteaux has a new bass player

Peter Kershaw is the new Bassist for Portmanteaux, joining them in September 2022.

Actually, Peter has a long history with Henry Jackson. They played music together when they bonded over blues and R’n’B at high school in Auckland, New Zealand. Peter was a central player in the Auckland blues scene and played in the Mad Dog Jug Band, Original Sun Blues Band, Killing Floor, OK Dinghy, Molly, Cruise Lane, and in Australia, Key Largo, The Red Hot Peppers and Frank Raymond & The Silhouettes. Peter made a living as a professional musician from 1969 to 1978, then worked in the Australian Film Industry as Key Grip, for 28 years before returning to musical entertainment.
